would be about 4m H except it has been strangled by the honeysuckle vine which, though now decaying, is wrapped tightly around the kahikatea trunk and has created deep scars several mms deep. The honeysuckle was probably cut less than a year ago by myself or trainee while exploring this area prior to its adoption by the Gahnia Grove restoration Trial.
