Description

Tuning Forks are used in tests for hearing using a vibrating tuning fork of known frequency as a source of sound. Tests conducted using tuning forks are: bing test, rinne test, schwabach test, and weber test. In each test of hearing the tuning fork is placed at various points around the head and ear. Correct use and placement of the tuning fork is important in obtaining the results.
