Ruth F. Hayman’s story of the early days of the Flemington Dairy Factory (originally part of the Ashburton Cheese and Butter Factory Company), 1882-1889, and the Harding family’s voyage to New Zealand. Ruth was the youngest of William and Mary Harding’s family and was about three years old when they arrived in New Zealand.
