Undersea robots have journeyed deep under the ocean floor - collecting data that will shape our understanding of earthquakes, like the one that prompted mass evacuations earlier this month. The state-of-the-art remote-controlled vehicles have also been exploring areas off New Zealand's coast never before visited by humans.
