Description

Photograph was taken of the Presbyterian Harrier Club - Wellington members, during the 1950 tramp to Orongorongo Valley. One member is giving another a 'piggy-back' across the river, to avoid their clothes and shoes getting wet. Three men have already crossed the river, and stand looking on to the two men crossing. The men wear long pants and shirts. There is bush and trees in the background, and stone covers the majority of the landscape.
