In 1978 John Clarke was in Wellington to help out again on Telethon. Like all of the on-screen talent, Clarke is made to work for the money. Some viewers request the carol 'We Three Kings': Clarke's alter ego Fred Dagg delivers the Kiwi version. Later he extinguishes his ciggie and hits the floor with Dougal Stevenson and Roger Gascoigne for some push-ups.
