Regarding negative-photostatic reproductions of the entries for 1 November 1769 to 3 November 1769 in Cook's log of the Endeavour. L. W. Melvin has added a note to the letter explaining these reproductions were added to the Cook section of Tauranga City Libraries map collection at the point of donation.
