This study investigated the relationship between internalised shame and shame proneness with attachment dimensions: avoidant/non-avoidant, ambivalent/non-ambivalent. Two hundred undergraduate students, one hundred males with a mean age of 24 and one hundred females with a mean age of 23, from the University of Canterbury, took part in the following research.
