Auckland borders are finally open for the first time since August. And people have been trickling out of Tamaki Makaurau since midnight. Travellers must be fully vaccinated or need to have tested Covid-19 negative. NZTA says it is expecting about 200,000 vehicles to pass through the borders in the lead up to Christmas.
