The Jew's Harp was gripped between the teeth and strummed with the thumb. The tone changed according to the pressure applied by the teeth. This Jew's Harp was owned by the well-known swagger ‘Cocky Wren’, who was a frequent visitor to Woodville during the 1940s and early 1950s, where he entertained on the main street.
