This chest belonged to Theophilus Daniel and is known as a campaign chest. As with most campaign chests, the set of drawers can be split into two parts for greater ease of transportation. The top drawer has multiple smaller drawers inside and a hinge mechanism to fold it out to act as a writing desk.
