Description

A black faille two-piece dress. The short, darted bodice features boned seams, double lapels with piping detail and a small white lace collar. Four buttons on each cuff have been removed. Fastens with eight buttons, two hooks and eyes at the waistband and one at the neck. The gathering in the elbows suggests the arms were generally bent when this was worn. The full-length skirt has copious gathering on the proper right side, suggesting alterations may have been made
