This christening gown is machine made from white lawn. White lawn is sheer, lightweight, fine plain weave textile which is known for its semi-transparency. The gown is quite long and is embellished with eyelet lace on the front of the bodice, the cuffs of the sleeves and the hem, the gown has rows of pintucks along the hem also.
