Description

Necklace made of small pupu rengarenga (yellow necklace-shell, Orobophana pacifica shell) and larger red-brown seeds. The shells and seeds are bored, and are spaced evenly around the necklace, threaded onto cotton string which is knotted to make the necklace. This type of shell is often used in an 'ei pupu necklace from the Cook Islands.
