A black and white photograph of Captain William Stevens and Frances Emma Stevens (née Galliot). Captain William Stevens was born in 1825, in Sussex England, a son of George and Mary Stevens. Mary had previously been married to William Howell, father of Captain William Howell, making these two sea captains half brothers.
