A black and white photograph labelled as the Francis Burn viaduct, on the main Port Craig tramway. The reverse lists the dimensions: 150 feet high and 450 feet long. The size of the viaduct in the photograph, and its similarity to other photographs, lead researchers to the conclusion that this photograph is mis-labelled and is of the Percy Burn Viaduct. This viaduct was built in 1925, by the Invercargill company Chester Construction, owned by Edward Chester. Chester lost huge amounts of money...
