Description

A black and white photograph that shows the wedding party of James Welsh and Margaret Crook. James Welsh was born in 1884, and Margaret Crooks in 1888, daughter of John and Mary Crooks. They were married in Riverton at St Columbia's church in 1912. They had at least two children. Although research continues, it appears Jim and Margaret were both teachers with Jim apparently being headmaster at Waimatuku and Makarewa schools.
