Description

This is a photograph of the Wyndham Township Flood which occurred on 29 March 1913. It shows various horses pulling dray and a four wheeled cart heading up Balaclava Street. Wyndham being in the centre of the Mataura, the Wyndham and the Mimihau Rivers, flooding had been an occurrence in the town's history on many occasions .
