Description

Bill Irvine migrated to New Zealand from Scotland in 1916. In 1919 he established a bakery at Edendale which provided goods to Wyndham, Mataura, Seaward Downs and Menzies Ferry. In 1927 Bill opened a small second store on Redan Street, Wyndham, and over time built up a large catering business which expanded far beyond the district, catering for weddings, balls, dances and race meetings.
