This large acrylic painting of the Shotover River near Dalefield, was made by Patricia Wilson in 1977. Patricia (Pat) had many interests and talents, beginning with a small business at her home in Seaward Road, Edendale, making feather mounts to sell afar to places such as Ballantynes Store in Christchurch, to TV stories, illustrations, and School Journal articles. She taught art at Southland Boys High School and Menzies College, and was awarded a QSM in Arts and Education. At the time of the...
