Description

This is a photograph of Edendale school pupils with their teacher, taken in 1920-29. Information with the photograph indicates that Ernie Botting is included in the photograph. Front row,: Murray Cushen, Vincent Heath, Ian Herbert, Lloyd Cranston. In later years Ernie Botting lived with his wife Nessie in Salford Street, Edendale and their home was well known for the topiary elephant with a monkey on its back, and a giant topiary moa in the garden.
