Raewyn Lou Reid married Neil John Torrie at Mangawhai on 14th December 1991. The Reid family farmed at Wellsford. Raewyn's dress was worn for the 3rd time as a wedding dress. Her mother, Elva Reid commented "When i announced my engagement just after the war, we still had clothing coupons and very limited material options.
