Description

Although we are not positive in the identification, we believe this may be Margaret Anne, known as 'Annie', McIvor, born at Eastern Bush, in 1871, the daughter of Roderick and Margaret McIvor (née Campbell). Annie's mother was a nurse, and a fine horsewoman, and rode around the Otautau district, where they lived, to visit patients. Annie herself was also a very good horsewoman, and won several awards at the Western Southland A & P shows in the early to mid 1900's. The horse she was photograph...
