Description

A black and white photograph of Margaret Kealey, born in Kilkenny, Ireland, in 1852. At some point she immigrated to Australia, where she met John Mills, a widower from Riverton. They married c1870, having a child in Melbourne, before relocating back to Riverton. John and Margaret had 11 children in total, including a stillborn child. Margaret Mills died in 1925 and is buried along with John, and a son who died in the First World War, Sydney, at Riverton cemetery.
