Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 18th December 1965 "Mr. D.L. Shearer, the television operations manager for Phot Finishes Ltd., seen putting the finishing touches to the new video tape camera and recording equipment at the Awapuni racecourse. In this photo Mr. Shearer is seen fitting a 800mm lens to the £2500 camera. The cost of the equipment, which is on hire to the Manawatu Racing Club is nearly £8000."
