A membership medal for the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes that was given to Eric Dawson of the Churchill Lodge in 1998. The Buffaloes, or 'Buffs' to members, was founded in 1822 at the Harp Tavern Drury Lane in London by actors and stagehands. The Grand Lodge of New Zealand was established in 1922.
