Description

Power and, to a lesser degree, work were shown to be more sensitive indicators of change in hand function in rheumatoid patients than MGS. Work and power should be estimated in the formal assessment of hand function. Now that functional changes more discriminating than MGS can be readily determined, it should be possible to differentiate better between drugs in future comparative studies.
