The Queen receiving an enthusiastic welcome during one of her many walks among the people. The Queen being shown around Lincoln College by Mr D. W. Bain, chairman of the Lincoln College board of governors.. The Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh visited Lincoln College on 4 March 1977 as part of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee tour to New Zealand. .
