Description

Cyathea dealbata (Silver Ferns) are endemic to New Zealand, growing up to approximately 10 metres in lower hillslopes. Mature Silver Ferns are recognised by the silver colour on the underside of the fronds on the fern and browning (seen on sharp drooping tips). The leaves are slightly alternating with a green upper side.
