The class photo shown here from 1920 has teacher Matilda MacDonald and the photo of the school building with pupils outside is dated from 1930: According to Miller’s history, once again, the Eastern Bush School was not opened until 1 January 1892 and previously the school children had been taught in the Scobie’s woolshed on the Accommodation House/Hotel property. There are a list of teachers and first students in Miller’s book but not much information – I will try to add more details to this...
