Description

Three white entree plates, scalloped edge with embossed pattern. Alfred Meakin, the manufacturer of these bowls, was established by Alfred Meakin in 1875 in Tunstall, England. After Meakin's death in 1904, the business was run by his son until his death in 1908. The business was then bought by Robert Johnson and it remained with the Johnson family until 1976.
