Description

A pair of scissor style, metal hair curling tongs. The blades of the scissors are made up of thin metal cylinders - two one one and one on the other - that fit together when the tongs are closed. Based on the size of the cylinders we believe these tongs would have been used to create small, tight curls or to crimp hair. These irons work muck like modern day curling irons except rather than generating their own heat these would have been heated either in a fire or on another heat source before...
