Says he has heard that Grey is leaving New Zealand; farewells him on his return home. Expresses his gratitude to him for their visit to the South Island. Refers to something troubling him re the house Grey spoke of to be made by Tuhourangi, a guest house at Te Wairoa. Says that they have done their part and are waiting for word from him to build the house, and that when it is finished perhaps Grey will fulfil his word and give some things for it.
