Description

Asks the Governor to return the greenstone weapon Kataore, a keepsake from his ancestors. Refers to Grey’s care for the Maori people in the past, and asks he return the weapon and not keep it, to show his intentions for the land and his love. Signs as 'Wiremu Kingi Manukorihi [presumably for the place name, where he was born].'
