Description

Small, brown cloth covered 1918 diary with The Soldiers Own Diary printed in white on the front. There is also a drawing of a soldier blowing a bugle which is placed inside a circle. The cloth binding also had space for a pencil to be inserted on the spine (not present). The diary belonged to W.J. Willson of Lowburn Ferry, Cromwell. It contains printed information that may be of use to a soldier in Europe in 1918 and also the handwritten entries of the owner
