- Description
Fruiting on a manuka / kanuka tree. Soft for a polypore so instead of woody more like leathery Bruises dark brown. Underside pale purple, ~8 pores / mm (small pores hard to count). Encrusting debris, not sure if it is a perennial polypore as the cross section exposed previous polypore growth, or this old polypore was enveloped as the new fruiting body grew.
