Description

This chapter summarises and discusses some of the research carried out so far relating to families and parenting on the Dunedin Study. Included are results and discussion of the Child Rearing Index, the Family Adversity Index, discipline, Family Relations Index, attitudes to and knowledge about parenting when the Study members were aged 15, sex differences in responses, and the implications and future directions of this research.
