Description

The Vickers sewing machine was produced by the Vickers Company in Crayford, London from1914 to 1939. The company was better known for producing armaments such as the Vickers machine gun. The machine is set into a wooden base (now painted cream) and has a wooden cover (also painted). The cover has a key on a string tied to the handle. Serial number 01-19148. There is a bobbin case and six bobbins, a screw driver and two Singer Sewing Machine needle packets (empty)
