Description

Live music gathered pace in 1982 and it was an eclectic-sounding situation in the various venues of Auckland, though the older styles were on the fade as originality and having a new record out began to mean something. Commercial radio wasn’t playing the records, but that didn’t seem to matter as a growing audience for homegrown rock music got their exposure to the new sounds loud and live.
