Description

The Royal Tour of 1953-54 was a significant event in New Zealand. The recently-crowned Queen Elizabeth II was the first reigning monarch to visit New Zealand and New Zealand's strong allegiance to Britain and the Commonwealth at that time meant that her tour attracted massive crowds. This souvenir booklet is an example of the kind of memorabilia created to commemorate her visit.
