This is the next day at the same rock pool as https://inaturalist.nz/observations/195999850. These are above-water photos taken with the DSLR. There is a bit of water movement showing, but they illustrate the fact that in some angles of light some of these juvenile G. cyanea show a hint of striping. There were also a couple of parore present this time, but they were hiding under the rocks and didn't come to eat the nerita shells I had crushed and thrown in. I'm confident that these fish are G
