Description

Views of the Dartmoor Bridge over the Mangaone River in the aftermath of flooding caused by Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023. The first photograph, taken from what was formerly a picnic area and is now part of the riverbed, shows exposed steel beams and willow trees swept downstream during the flood. The second photograph, taken from the riverside, documents the rope line and improvised raft used by local residents to cross the river and transport supplies.
