Description

Soldier's Pay Book for use on Active Service. This small, leather covered booklet includes instructions for soldiers, records of rank, service awards, vaccinations, dental records, pay received and a railway ticket. Includes a cardboard covered Soldier's Pay-Book [A.B. 64/327] and two additional Pay Books. Jack Robert Nevil/Neville Carr [5.11.1922- 28.11.1991], army number 441980, was enlisted into the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Forces on 10 January 1942 at age 19 years 2 months.
