Monowai - Power Station Works, Steam Shovel at Work, c1921 An OSGOOD Steam Shovel is shown here, shovelling dirt onto a horse-drawn cart, as part of the preparation of site works for the Monowai Power Station. These machines were manufactured in Maine Ohio, USA, from 1890-1920. As this photo is undated and the bridge into the Monowai Power Station project site was opened in 1921, we guess that this photo is taken some time soon after that date.
