A photograph print of New Zealand Railway (NZR) AB608, 4-6-2, taking on water. This is a mixed traffic general purpose locomotive of NZR design and the most numerous class. This particular loco, named "Passchendale". carries a bronze plaque on the running boards in memory of railwaymen who fell in the Great War of 1914-1918.
