Description

Three-masted ship with sails up in harbour, numerous rocks and outcrops around edges of harbour. A large waka is paddling away from the ship, and two smaller rowboats or canoes and a yacht are to the left of the ship. Three of the Heaphy sketchbooks, (PD 56(85-87), were dismantled from their original sketchbook format and individually mounted, using conservation materials. The original covers and bindings are boxed separately.
