Description

Programme for the Lincoln Basketball Association's event to raise money to aid patriotic funds. Four affiliated clubs, Lincoln, Springston, Tai Tapu and Wakaipa / Springston South successfully raised 378 pounds, 9 shillings and ten pence. Miss Joyce Moore, Wakaipa (Springston South) was crowned the winning queen. Ref: Ellesmere Guardian 27 September 1940 .
