Plate, commemorative. A plate that has a picture of Captain Cook and the Endeavour painted on to a white china plate. D 235mm, Has a makers stamp on underside. On the front by painted image is “Landing of Captain Cook 6th October 1769 New Zealand”. Underneath “A souvenir to commemorate Centennial Exhibition NZ 1940”. Plate has fluted edge with a gold trim.
