Anaru Cooper from AoNet Broadband fitted his ute with satellite uplink and access point, then drove all the streets of Wairoa providing wifi to residents when all communication services were lost as a result of Cyclone Gabrielle. The vehicle behind, belonging to Matt Harrison of Primo Wireless (Taranaki), tows a horse float loaded with emergency supplies. 22 February 2023.
