This is a photograph of Moffat's Flour Mill at Otautau. Henry Moffat having built four mills in Canterbury, went bankrupt, sold three mills off and leased the on at Lincoln. When this happened Moffat shifted, with his first wife Mary and their six children, to Otautau. In 1883, Henry built a flour mill in Otautau.
